In the latest Firefox <select> highlights look a little odd. The issue may just be in the GTK component.
Bugzilla search has unreadable text, see attachment.
I also see the following style has issues:
select {
background: transparent;
}
Other browsers give the select a native background appearance see Etsy selects that use background:none; STR:

2. Click the country icon at the bottom

There are two bugs described by comment #0. Indeed, the screenshot shows bug 1338283. The second issue described in comment #0 is tracked as bug 1338850.
