From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020311 BuildID: 2002031104 I have set in the options the option, that the master password is only requested the first time it is needed. But it is requested several times in one session I have. This is really annoying and looks for me like a broken functionality. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. edit security preferences: Master password -- request only the first time 2. enter WebSites which are protected by passwords and where you are redirected often to other servers 3. Actual Results: It seems to me, that every time, the server changes (which has the same password, but is an other server) the master password is requested. Expected Results: In my understanding of the settings, mozilla should only request the password once -- and then only after a restard. I am here in a compony intranet which is very complex - so I am sorry, that I can not give more informations. But one hint: there are several servers and for different content _and_ for load balancing purposes, there are many different server hops in a session. The most servers I need I have now saved passwords in the "password device". But instead of asking the password for the server, it now asks the master password, what is also annoying. Please stop this.
