Hi Chris,
RTL support on Fennec is ready to ride the train of Firefox53.
Engineering team summarized the developer's note in the doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/11wEGzTYWBUqoHkOTAcf5s8TtLKm189g7yw3PhOfYwAQ/)
when making code changes in the release after 53 that might impact RTL.
May we know if the google doc is appropriate for publishing on MDN ?
Could you please kindly help us wit this ? Thank you very much!!

I emailed this to Rachelle too, but I'm also recording it here so others know what was discussed:
My suggestion is as follows:
* Slightly extend your post to talk not only about the changes on the Android side of things, but also about what new support this brings to web standards features and how this might benefit web developers, then we could get it published on the hacks blog. Havi Hoffman is the best person to talk to about that, but I can be on hand to help edit and upload the post.
* Add a line to the Firefox 53 release notes on MDN explaining this change.
* Update the support information on the relevant MDN reference pages (padding-start, padding-end, whatever else) to say that FxA 53 now supports those. (can you provide with a list of the affected properties?)

This feature shipped a while ago and TPE is not working on Firefox
If someone has access to what was started and will push it over the line please reopen.
