Details

Setup: - Have Mozilla to use IMAP - Have a copy of mail being sent to be put in the Sent folder on the IMAP server Steps: 1- Start a new session of bugzilla (so that Mozilla doesn't know your IMAP password) 2- Compose a new mail message 3- Send it 4- Mozilla sends the mail then ask for you IMAP password to put the copy, enter it. Result: A message box saying that you can't subscribe to your "Sent" mailbox because you are already subscribed. Click Ok. The "Sending Messages" dialog box stays there until you click "Cancel". The mail is not copied in the folder. Expected result: No message box, copy of the mail in the "Sent" folder. Remarks: - I'm using the IMAP server from the University of Washington (UW IMAP). I don't know if this problem is specific to this server or not. - Steps 1 and 2 can be replace with 1b- Close Mozilla 2b- Using Windows Explorer, right-click on a file, select "Send to", "Mail Recipient" Since I'm using the "Send to" from Explorer quite often without keeping Mozilla open, I get this error quite often and loose the copy of the mail, this is quite annoying (marking critical since there is data loss).
I also experience this problem on Mac OS X build 2002040515.
I believe this is a duplicate of bug 90064.
