To reproduce: 1. Point browser to a page which takes a long time to load, such as http://listings.ebay.com/aw/listings/list/all/category137/index.html 2. As soon as the "sending data" message as disappeared in the status bar and the "transferring data" message appears, attempt to stop the page from loading by either hitting Esc or by clicking on the stop icon. Actual result: The new page eventually loads even though the stop was requested long before the new page started rendering. Expected result: Activity stops and the browser continues to display the current page. I'm using Linux trunk build 2002-03-29-21, i've been seeing this for a long time.
