[Note]:
- This bug was filled based on the discussion from bug 1187014 comment 16.
[Affected versions]:
- Firefox 53 Beta 7
- latest Aurora 54.0a2 (2017-03-31)
- latest Nightly 55.0a1 (2017-03-31)
[Affected platforms]:
- Windows 7 x64
- Ubuntu 14.04 x64
- Mac OS X 10.11
[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Launch Firefox and go to about:preferences page.
2. Go to Content tab -> "Notifications" section -> "Do not disturb me"
Expected: "you" should be used instead of "me" (only on Windows)
3. Go to Privacy -> "History" section -> "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" selected:
- "Remember my browsing and download history"
- "Keep until" I close Firefox"
- "Clear history when Firefox closes" checked -> on Settings panel -> "When I quit Firefox"
Expected: "your"/"You" should be used instead of "my"/"I".
[Expected result]:
- "You"/"your" should be used in all preference strings, not "my"/"I".
[Actual result]:
- "My" and "I" are used in "Notifications" and "History" instead of "your" and "You". Please see attachment "preferences.png".
[Regression range]:
- not a regression, since it's a new implementation
