Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020327
BuildID: 2002032712
If you enter a text larger than ca. 10 kB in a textarea in a form, Mozilla will
stop at "Sending request to X..." when you try to submit the form.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a page with a <form method="post"> textarea.
2. Enter or paste in some text, at least 11 kB.
3. Hit "submit" (send the form data).
Actual Results: Mozilla seems to send the data but does not load any resulting
pages. It stops at "Sending request to X...".
Expected Results: The data should have been sent and any subsequent page should
have been loaded.
With data smaller than ca. 10 kB everything works fine.
I have tested this with e.g. http://spamcop.net and Bugzilla,
http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/bugzilla-helper.html .
Non-mozilla based browsers perform as expected, so I don't think it's a site
specific problem.
