Sometimes the mouse ends up resting over a link while I am typing into a text box in the lower left corner of the browser (especially with IRCCloud), and this causes the status bar to appear and occlude the text I am writing. It would be nice if the status bar was hidden when the user is actively typing, even if it is over a link, to avoid this situation.
