User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: 0. Open the devtools or the development toolbar (MAJ + F2) 1. Go to about:addons 2. Choose "Appearance" or (skin or theme, I do not know in english) 3. Choose the compact dark theme 4. Choose the default theme again (which is light) Actual results: The devtools are still in the dark theme. (See developer bar at the bottom, on my screenshot). Expected results: The devtools should get the light theme again. Workaround : choosing the compact light theme before choosing the default theme.

It affects all the devtools, and it's pretty annoying because the user can't revert to the default theme for devtools which are stuck with the dark theme.

The devtools theme can also be switched back inside the toolbox options panel (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Settings)

It seems this bug is now irrelevant because devtools do not inherit the theme from the main window

The sync between the devtools and the browser has indeed been removed : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1389939. I close the ticket.
