Using forums, bug management etc. on www.sourceforge.net, browser for some
reason does "repost" on every POST request (even asks whether I really want to
repost the data).

Do you have character coding auto-detecet enabled by any chance?

I also see this on http://www.stegpc.ch. All articles appear twice in the
shopping bag. Character encoding isn't auto-detect.

Not to be a pain, but are you *sure* you don't have anything selected in
View -> Character Encoding -> Auto-detect
(You will have a character set select in View -> Character Encoing even if you
have a type selected in Auto-detect)
I just tried it on the site you mention, and I get double submit if I have it
enabled.

You are right. Everything works fine when changing Auto-Detect to off. Well I
was quite sure it already was off before but it wasn't. :-(

Markus, you're seeing bug 61363
Sergey, do you have Auto-detect enabled in View->Character Coding->Auto Detect?

Really, in Galeon after setting "AutoDetect" to "Off" things got better. But AD
is really useful feature (especially with multiple russian encodings). So
probably its' just duplicate of 61363. BTW, I'd say for 1.0 this bug would be
very bad to have it unfixed:(((

Auto-detect is indeed a useful feature, and nobody is saying it's not.
This is definitely a duplicate of bug 61363.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
