Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. I'm not sure this is the same issue. Bug 136933 is about 2 email accounts with different USERNAMES but the same popserver. Bug 149804 is about 2 accounts with the SAME username and same popserver. They may be related. Is there a workaround?
Just tested this. The issue arrises if BOTH popservers ARE the same. However if they are different then you can have two usres with the same name.
Confirmed under linux moz-1.0 with IMAP accounts. I use two different accounts on different ports (one on the server, one via a high port forwarded using ssh to the mail server behind the firewall at work) and Mozilla will not allow creation of both. I've had to trick it into letting me by aliasing the mail host to both "firewall.localnet" and "mail.localnet" in BIND and assigning an account to each. (could be done with /etc/hosts too). I'd rate this one "Important" m'self, as current behavior is clearly quite broken. I'd suggest combining a fix for this with adding the option to define a port at mail account creation and checking for same username + host + port rather than just username + host.
