Development on a public JSON API for the Rules and Releases in Balrog is well underway in bug 1325377. This interface is expected to be used both by many internal applications and teams, and external stakeholders (such as Linux distributions) to keep on top of the status of our updates. Because of this, we'd like to have a clear and obvious domain where this can happen. It should have a proper SSL cert (no pinning required), and can be backed by the same nodes as the existing public application.
