Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: BuildID: 20020412 When I click and drag the mail preview pane topbar at the top of the preview pane to shrink the size of the preview pane, it will only shrink so far and then the white area just paints over the status bar at the bottom, i.e. the whole preview pane white area just moves down and over the bottom of the status bar at the bottom of the mailnews interface. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open mailnews interface 2.Click and hold the preview pane topbar. 3.While holding the preview pane topbar, drag it downward to reduce the height of the preview pane visible window. Actual Results: The preview pane window will only shrink in height so far, then the visible white area moves over the bottom of the mailnews interface and wipes out the status-tool bar at the bottom. Expected Results: The preview pane area should shrink in height to the point at which the preview pane topbar is touching the top of the status-tool bar at the bottom of the mailnews interface.
Using Build Id: 2002041306, I've noticed that this bug is still present, and if the grippy bar is drug down until it docks at the top of the status bar and then drug back up and down again, the original preview pane/scrollbar overlap of the status bar isn't repeated again until the mailnews client is restarted. The preview pane and scrollbars go in front of the status bar on the initial grippy dragdown, and then thereafter the they work correctly until the client is restarted. This behavior is with the classic skin, I haven't tried any others.
Reproducable in 2002042908
