Mike, does the tab close test cause resize events? Or will this be a resize event from the initial opening of the browser, or something? I wouldn't expect closing tabs to hit this code at all...

Obsoleting comment 2, because I thought this was for the window closing test, and not the tab closing test. One thing that strikes me as odd is that the failure appears when the Window is maximized: http://mozilla-releng-blobs.s3.amazonaws.com/blobs/mozilla-beta/sha512/9ed843210f7138c461dc654bdf9978a0e7d54cb097424453977690753d0f03226f29c778700295ef3b90b69b1cdeb2179627e13a48eafac59754f0668d403e60 I was under the impression that most of our mochitests run when the window is in the restored state.
