gps pointed out in bug 1237610 that we're currently submitting build metrics over HTTP, not HTTPS to ekyle's server. gps said he has a hostname we can use, so we should get that pointed at the right IP and get a Let's Encrypt cert to use. This doesn't have to be a perfect solution, it just has to tide us over until the generic ingestion service is ready.
I have access to mozops.net in an AWS account. It is trivial to hook up DNS in Route 53. What I don't know is if there will be any issues leveraging mozops.net for this purpose. fubar?

If it's a short term solution to get you unblocked, go for it.

Pull request up at https://github.com/mozilla-platform-ops/devservices-aws/pull/45. I've already run `terraform apply`, so build-metrics-ingest.mozops.net is live. Probably best to wait on Jake or Kendall to merge it in case they don't like the hostname.
r+ and merged. will let you deploy.
build-metrics-ingest.mozops.net is an A record to 54.149.253.188.
