The attachment will explain everything.
Here's what I did:
1) opened the page I want to bookmark
2) went to Bookmarks -> File Bookmark...
3) Created a new subdirectory called "eBay"
4) double-clicked on it -- the folder picture seemed to 'open'
5) clicked OK
Looking at it, that subdirectory displays a ghosted "empty" entry, but right
below it, displays my new bookmark.

Using KDE 2.2.2 on Mandrake 8.2 and the latest nightly build of Mozilla.
