From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002041703 I have "open unrequested windows" unchecked in Preferences-->Advanced-->Scripts and Windows. nytimes.com reloads every 15 minutes with an http-equiv="refresh", and when it does, it spawns a popup advertisement. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Uncheck "open unrequested windows". 2. Load http://nytimes.com/. 3. Wait 15 minutes. Actual Results: There was a popup advertisement on my screen. Expected Results: The popup should have been blocked. I have observed this bug on NetBSD as well as Mac OS X.
Yep. nytimes has gotten cleverer about their popups... the battle continues. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 132031 ***
