Details

Reproducable: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a bookmarked item from the Bookmarks menu on the toolbar (not on the
top menu or sidebar).

Expected Results: The bookmarked item is loaded and the Bookmarks menu becomes
unhighlighted.

Actual Results: The bookmarked item is loaded and the Bookmarks menu remains
highlighted.

I've seen this behavior with the last few nightly trunk builds including
2002041803 on Windows 98. I've seen similar behavior with the Back button, but
cannot figure out how to reproduce it.
Fixing spelling mistake in summary.
Summary: Bookmarks toolbat menu stays highlighted → Bookmarks toolbar menu stays highlighted
Yes, I see this in a trunk build pulled from cvs this morning (win2k).

Technically, it is remaining in it's :hover style. A later mouseover/mouseout
will get the :hover style to go away. Possibly related to other :hover changes
from dbaron, but not a biggie.

What skin is this?

/me goes to turn on the extra bookmarks menu...
I think menus use the _moz_menuactive attribute for their hover effects instead
of :hover. bryner was fiddling with this, though.

Classic. I haven't tried to reproduce in Modern.
Are you sure this is a recent regression? Could it instead be a duplicate of
bug 130999?
I actually can't even reproduce what you're seeing, but I think menu issues are
unlikely to be related to bug 5693.
looks like a dup of bug 137033?
