Attached image Current Default Bookmarks Listing (deleted) —
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0 Build ID: 20170722072631 Steps to reproduce: Click the "Bookmarks" button. Actual results: There are too many default bookmarks. Expected results: Show no default bookmarks at all; show *only* the user's bookmarks. Regardless of how often users may or may not click the current default bookmarks, I do not believe they are appreciated. They clutter the default experience. Chrome is comparatively clean. The following is the default for Firefox: --View Bookmarks Sidebar --Show All Bookmarks --5 bookmarks under "Recently Bookmarked." --View Pocket List --Bookmarks Toolbar --Other Bookmarks --Recent Tags --Mozilla Firefox --Show All Bookmarks (yes, again) See screenshot for complete list. I would show only the following: --Bookmarks Toolbar --(list of user's bookmarks not in the Bookmarks Toolbar) This would make it simpler to understand for new users and closer to what other browsers already offer.

I've attached an image comparison between the default bookmarks of Chrome and Firefox. As you can see, Chrome is completely empty, whereas Firefox is a difficult-to-understand mess. Pretty easy to see why Firefox users would have more difficulty with bookmarks.
