If I try to file a message to a parent folder, i.e., File Here, it doesn't do anything. Filing to sub-folders seems to work fine. Not sure if this is an RDF thing or our problem.

No, but I was using the 5.0 browser to file the bug, and it screwed up a bunch of things.

That's funny, I'm not seeing it crash and I'm using the 10-19-08 commercial builds. I'm using IMAP. Just an FYI.

It works for me on Mac using Imap too. Copying message from Imap to Pop3 is broken at the moment, see bug 16538.

I tried it again using a folder with sub-folders. It works on POP|IMAP on LInux and Win_nt. But I have to exit/relaunch Messenger to see it. On Mac's POP, it works without having to exit/relaunch

That would be a separate bug saying that the destination thread pane not being updated after move/copy messages.

bug 16911 is to address the update pane problem.
