1. Select a few lines of text. (the site is dynamic but I always see the same behavior) 2. Hit "Copy". 3. Paste to a composer window or some other app. 4. The text gets garbled and parts are repeated. Example: The original text is "Officials say Israel unhappy with absence of a military presence on the team." Pasted text is "Officials say Israel unhappy with absence Officials say Israel unhappy with absence of a military presence on the team." I'm guessing this is related to BiDi since the multi-line selection looks like it thinks the text is hebrew, but the text is actually english. This looks like it is related to bug 112101, but that bug does not mention pasting.

I see it in Windows 98SE too with 1.0rc1

(See Above) After reviewing what I just posted I realized that it doesn't look the same as what I'm seeing on the screen. What I get on the screen looks like korean, chinese or similar oriental characters. See picture here http://swflug.org/mozilla.jpg
