Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0
Build ID: 20170824053838

Steps to reproduce:

macOS Sierra version 10.12.6 (16G29)
Firefox version 55.0.3 (64-bit)

browser.warnOnQuit = TRUE
browser.showQuitWarning = TRUE
browser.tabs.warnOnClose = TRUE
browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs = TRUE

Steps to Reproduce:
1. NOTE: This problem can be reproduced in both the regular browsing mode and in the "private" browsing mode.
2. Launch Firefox and open multiple URLs in several tabs of a single window.
3. Ensure that only one browser window (with multiple active tabs) is open.
4. Quit Firefox using the Cmd+Q keys or using the Quit option in the menu bar.
5. A warning is displayed.
6. Now, minimize the Firefox window to the Mac OS dock using the yellow / orange / amber icon.
7. Quit Firefox using the Cmd+Q keys or using the Quit option in the menu bar.
8. Firefox will quit without any warning.
9. REPEAT STEPS 2 THROUGH 9 IN PRIVATE BROWSING MODE.

Actual results:

When attempting to quit Firefox, the browser did NOT display the warning/prompt that one or more browser windows were open (but in a "minimized" state on the Mac OS dock).

Expected results:

Firefox should have displayed a warning that one or more browser windows were open when attempting to quit the application.
