Details
switch to tab is missing completely
steps to reproduce:
1. Have gdoc open
2. In new tab try to open same gdoc
3. Firefox doesn't guide me to existing open tab
results: the browser doesn't guide me to existing open tab.
expected results: the switch to open tab should take me to the existing open tab.
Expected result broken down (worked about 2-3 weeks ago)
1. have gdoc open
2. In new tab try to open same gdoc
3. Firefox guide me to existing open tab
Benefit: Avoid death by too many tabs.
This may be a duplicate of
Bug 1409574
But I think this is slightly different.

do you see the entry if you limit results to open tabs, by prepending your search with "% ", for example "% some words".

Yes I do! :)
I also see it now in search but it is very far down the list in the awesome bar results and need to almost write entire search term out... which makes it less useful. As a user it kinda felt like magic the first time b/c i wasn't even aware that i was using 'switch to tab' feature. Would be nice if it got higher in the result list but that may be my preference.
Thanks for the help!

I don't know if there's much actionable here. This is probably due to the recent change where we show search suggestions above everything else, and that was reverted. We're going to be looking at improving our rankings soon, and switch to tab is certainly part of that.
