There are still some build rules for IPDL in the Makefile.in: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/file/371e44e0034771ec8a5ac3c5a6518ef608227b99/ipc/ipdl/Makefile.in We should figure out how to move these to moz.build or someplace else so that we don't have to reimplement this logic for tup.
