In the folder's context menu should be 'save all attachments in this folder'. Mozilla should walk trough all messages and save all attachments. Maybe something like autorename, or skipping identical files would be nice.
This is mostly covered, and may be redundant if RFE bug 92146 is implemented, which seems like a more flexible solution.
