RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 106094

Details

I would like some functionality that is present already in MS Internet Explorer: When downloading an exe file it would be extremely convenient if it would be possible to directly open the file from it's current directory after displaying a warning/confirmation dialog, instead of having to browse to that directory and then open it. Also it would also be very to perform something like "Open from current location", that will download a file in the temporary directory/cache and then open it after a warnig dialog - this way the downloaded file is automatically deleted by the webcache manager of mozilla after a while and I don't have to do it. This is extremely usefull for installer en setup executable files. It's no security risc, since a warning dialog box is shown, and a downloaded file by the user will be opened eventually afterwards. It's extremely usefull, and apart from the fact most if not all viruses are email viruses (it could however be disabled by default from the preferences menu).
