Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20171120100042
Steps to reproduce:
1. Search for 'hello world' using the search bar or the navigation bar.
2. In the navigation bar, click the dropdown array (Show history).
3. Click any of the search engine buttons at the bottom.
Actual results:
Browser searched using the selected search engine for the URL of the page containing the search result for 'hello world', (i.e. it searched for 'https://www.google.nl/search?q=hello+world', instead of 'hello world').
Expected results:
Browser should have searched using the selected search engine for 'hello world'.

Component: Untriaged → Address Bar
Additional information: this also applies to auto-completed URIs.
So for example, typing 'cal', which gets auto-completed to 'calendar.google.com/', pressing Enter and then clicking the 'Show history' dropdown shows 'Search for cal with:' at the bottom.
