Steps to reproduce:

I create a new tab page and my new tab stream is completely empty


Actual results:

You can clearly see a different back ground and a missing logo including moving tab title text. This is really annoying and reminds on bad programmed software without double buffering. The grayed out firefox logo and the cog is also flashing in this page.


Expected results:

I either want a clear empty website (about:blank - preferred) or immediatly open the (blank) new tab page (and then load the content)
