RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 135840

Details

If you load a Java applet in Mozilla 1.0.0 RC1 using the "MRJPluginCarbon-1.0fc2" plug-in and the applet tries to access an url using the https protocol (making a connection to port 443 of some server), the connection will always be attempted directly, bypassing any (SSL) proxy settings in the browser's preferences. Obviously, this doesn't work when you're behind a firewall. I can't give you an url to test, because it's for an online bank and you have to enter a valid ID in a normal form which is verified before you are transfered to the page containing the offending applet.
