As seen in bug 1425398, about:preferences is slower than it should be. It'll be nice to fix it, but it would also be nice to ensure this doesn't regress in the future. I think we should at least add reflow and flickering tests for this interaction. See the existing tests in https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/browser/base/content/test/performance/ for examples.

2 different things, this bug is about having test coverage for what we can test deterministically with mochitests, bug 1425676 is about getting numbers.
