Details

If the option: Edit/Preferences/Navigator/Tabbed Browsing/open tab instead of windows for/middle-click or control-click of links in webpages Is turned off (default) then middle clicking a link in an email message opens it in a new window as expected. If the option is turned on, then middle clicking a link does nothing. I would expect it to open the link in a new navigator window if none are open. Or if a navigator window is open, potentially open it in a new tab of the existing window. In fact what might be ideal is a seperate setting for middle click in a web pages and middle click in an email. This is with Mozilla 1.0 Release Candidate 1 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 Cheers, dan.
