From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020412 Debian/0.9.9-6 BuildID: When I try to cut and paste the GPL from http://www.fsf.org/licenses/gpl.html into *any* "Edit Page"-form in our TWiki Mozilla tries indefinately with no luck. (Please try it out in the sandbox URL provided above.) The same problem does not happen with Netscape 4.77. Instead submitting the same text is *soooo* damned quick! It seems as if there is a limit on how much text can be submitted in a form ... oups! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Fire up the Mozilla from Debian Woody, 0.9.9 with the URL above. 2. Create a sandbox test page and paste the GPL from gnu.org into it. 3. Click the "Preview" box. No luck... 4. Test the same with Netscape 4.77 5. Test with half the license text ... wohaa, now it works Actual Results: Mozilla tries forever to submit the form, without succeeding. Expected Results: As in Netscape 4.77, submitting the form should succeed.
Duplicate of "Cannot submit large POST requests since Mozilla 0.9.9" This is fixed in RC1/RC2 and trunk builds. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 130301 ***
