I have the same problem on Mozilla 1.0rc2 running on a NT 4.0 (Server) with Service Pack 6 and accessing Internet through a proxy server. As reporter says, initially the page refuses to load with the "Document contains no data" msg, but after a couple of "Reload" the page is shown right. This behavior shows up when trying to load an url for the first time, but also when click on a link or submitting a form. This is really annoying! (i´m sorry but I don´t have the BuildID here, this is another PC)
DaTTa: the problem you are seeing is caused by MS Proxy server. it is not compatible with HTTP/1.1, so you will need to use HTTP/1.0 from mozilla. to do this, go to Edit->Preferences->Advanced->HTTP Networking, and select Use HTTP 1.0.
Oh! I read the Release Notes and saw the "Proxy" section but I didn't know MS Proxy requires HTTP/1.0 Thanks and sorry for my post.
shirawans@hotmail.com: Is this a proxy issue? Does setting preferences/Advanced/HTTP networking pref to HTTP 1.0 solve it? If so - dup of bug 38488 and more.
WinXP / 2002053012 / JRE 1.4.0-rc WFM, also this bug was encountered using an old (3+ weeks) build of Mozilla, if this bug persists using a current build, please get this bug reopened.

mike: I don't think that bug 139879 mentions proxy problems anywhere. that was a transient HTTP problem.
