I try and minimize the window and it just opens back up. I have this problem A LOT on RC1 but this is the first time it has happened to me on RC2.

does it happen regardless of what page you have loaded? After bug 120155 was fixed, there are two remaining known issues; bug 142183 and bug 142184. Dup?

this is happening in RC1 under windows 98 as well. It seems to happen regardless of the page that is loaded, and occurs even after page loading is complete.

sorry - forgot to add, I'm getting this even with a blank page after first launching mozilla.

I haven't had this happen to me since RC2. Used to happen all the time in RC1.

There are edgy cases known where the window will refuse to stay minimized. See comment 2. jr, if you're seeing something that's not covered by one of those two bugs, please post specifics.

This just happened to me in RC3.

Sometimes the browser window will not minimize, even after trying 5-6 times. The only way to fix it is to open a new browser window then close it. I am using Mozilla 1.0 on WinXP

WFM in general with 1.1beta win2k. reporter (jr): can you reproduce this with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.1beta)? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please resolve this as WORKSFORME. some steps to be able to reproduce this problem would be useful - is it while you are loading a page? or is the page loaded already? what else, if anything, is happening before/during your attempts to minimise the window? thanks

I can only reproduce it on 1.0 builds - not 1.1a or 1.1b. It happens very rarley when pages are loading.

If a bug does not occur on todays build, it's WFM.
