Confirmed using Mac/2002080208/9.2.2. The point of clicking on the scrollbar is significant. If the distance between your second click and the bottom of the elevator is less than the elevator height, then the double-scroll problem doesn't manifest. However, if the distance is greater, the double-scroll problem does seem to manifest.

Occurs also in the Java script Debuger. Is there a window where this works correctely ? I think that the summary have to be changed.

This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies there as well or resolve this bug.
