From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510 BuildID: 2002051009 mozilla goes to an infinite loop (processor load >90%, no network traffic) when I click a text line on the above mentioned page. the URLs on the page are e.g. www.yle.fi/aanilevysto/firs2/html/Onnen6k.htmLännen lokari möttö möttö (a-umlaut and o-umlauts) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.goto page http://www.yle.fi/aanilevysto/firs2/html/m1tt16ht.htm#M%F6tt%F6%20hiskias 2.click e.g. "12. Lännen lokari" Actual Results: mozilla freezes Expected Results: the actual page is very simple it's the # directive int the URL that is supposed to find the correct position in the document that completely messes up Mozilla.

Duplicate of "Anchors that contain non-UTF-8 characters may hang Mozilla" This is fixed on the branch and RC3 or 1.0final (whichever comes next) should have the fix. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 132583 ***
