Launch Firefox and access the about:blank page 2. In a new tab access the about:newtab page 3. Restart Firefox [Expected result]: The about:blank and about:newtab tabs are restored and loaded successfully and the tabs title is displayed. [Actual result]: The tab title of the about:blank is not displayed after the browser is restarted. Note: Please see the attached file for the actual result.

Update: To restart Firefox please use this steps: 1. Open Browser Console = Command/Ctrl + Shift + J 2. Trigger browser restart = Command/Ctrl + Option/Alt + R I also tested this issue on 59, 60, 61 versions and it's reproducible.

If Firefox is set to start with the tabs from the previous session you can just Quit the browser and start it again to get the same effect.

I wasn't able to reproduce this in 62 Beta on OSX. :Ovidiu are you still able to reproduce in 62?

I am still able to reproduce the problem with Firefox Nightly 63 on Linux (and previously saw it on Nightly 62). See the attached screen shot. The problem goes away when the blank tab gets focus (at least in some cases) so create a tab to the right of the blank tab before you restart.

Hi Tim, I retested it on Mac OS X 10.12 with FF Nightly 63.0a1 (2018-08-22) and I was able to reproduce it. Also, the issue is reproducible with Beta 62.0b19.
