Wifi debugging does not detect Nightly, only Beta. USB debugging with Nightly works. No errors in browser console. Let me know if there is anything I can help to debug this.
Makoto, is that related to other socket issues; how could I tell?

IIUC, wifi debugging doesn't work if other firefox instance is enabling wifi debugging. I think jryans already filed a bug for that, couldn't find it now.

Two different versions of Firefox running at the same (on either desktop or phone) may confuse WiFi debugging currently, that's true. However, it sounds like :digitarald wasn't in the situation at first. :digitarald, can you try enabling "devtools.discovery.log" in about:config on desktop? This should cause discovery log details to appear in Browser Console.

Wifi debugging is a feature only available in WebIDE, and that is the scope of the initial bug here.
If you have steps involving WiFi debugging (via ADB port forwarding?) that don't work with the new about:debugging, it might be better to file another bug.
