I use Mailvelope [1] to read encrypted bugmail. When I receive an encrypted email, the extension detects it and makes the encrypted text clickable. When I click on it, it opens a window allowing me to enter the passphrase to my private key.

On Linux (Ubuntu with the i3 window manager) only (I've only tried OSX and Linux), the dialog box that pops up doesn't paint -- I get a dialog box with a gray interior. Right clicking in the box causes the context menu to show and the contents of the box to paint. After that the extension works normally.

This seems like it might be a bug on our end, probably in our widget code.

Karl, I'm happy to dig in a bit here but was wondering if you had any ideas right off the bat.

I just asked Blake if he knew stuff to help me debug bug 1425829, and we concluded that this is probably a duplicate of bug 1425829 which has a little more information. Just marking as a dependency for now, though.
Depends on: 1425829
Might as well just dupe this over. Sorry for the bugspam, Karl.
