Details

[Affected versions]: latest Nigthly 62.0a1 (2018-06-24) (64-bit) Firefox Beta 61.0. Firefox Release 60.0.2. [Affected platforms]: macOS High Sierra 10.13. Ubuntu 18.04. [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Launch Firefox 2. Go to https://mozilla.github.io/webrtc-landing/gum_test.html 3. Select screen or window sharing 5. Allow permisions for the current opened site with the testcase (window sharing)* 6. Observe the low FPS number ~ 6 (3 in the video due to recording) [Expected result]: The screensharing and window sharing should work with a proper FPS number, as on other OS (~40 FPS) [Actual result]: A maximum number of 6 FPS was observed during sharing while the mouse coursor might also not be displayed at all. (especially in Nightly – MAC). [Notes] Video of the issue during window sharing: https://streamable.com/dbwb9

Retested the issue on the latest FF Nightly 63.0a1 (2018-08-30) on Mac OS X 10.13 and Ubuntu 18.04. Since now approximately 15 - 27 FPS are registered during windows sharing I will mark this issue as Resolved - WFM.
