Hi,
I tried to reproduce the issue on Nightly 63.0a1 (2018-07-10) and Firefox 61.0.1 on Ubuntu 16.04 and didn't managed to.
Can you please go to about:crashes and send me the link with the crash report?

I think it will be a good idea also to retest this on Firefox Nightly. Here is a link form where you can install Firefox Nightly: https://nightly.mozilla.org.
If you still have the issue please create a new profile, you have the steps here: https://goo.gl/Awo6h8.

@david doesn't work eighter.
The connection has timed out
The server at www.twitter.com is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Nightly is permitted to access the Web.

I'm unable to reproduce the problem, however there are a handful of bugs with crashes sigs [@ IPCError-browser | ShutDownKill ], so moving over to core.

A crash is probably better than a rash.
Summary: rash in IPCError-browser | ShutDownKill; ubuntu using vpn add-ons → crash in IPCError-browser | ShutDownKill; ubuntu using vpn add-ons
