As visible on the joined screenshot (in French), Thunderbird offered to compact folders and claimed it would free 18630GB! Only problem is that the partition is ~250GB.

Oh and bug is on OS X running Thunderbird 52.9.0.
Never got such message before (52.8.0 and older), can't tell if this is due to the upgrade or my mailboxes though.
