We'd like a plugin page for OS/2 as well. We have very few plugins so it will be very easy :) The referenced page has a lot of the intro info.
Blocks: PluginDoc
Are you looking for a Mozilla hosted site, or just something that looks similar to the Linux/Mac/Win plugins pages?
Just something similar to what Win/Mac/Linux have. And then it will be hosted by plugindoc.mozdev.org.
Assigning getting it on PluginDoc to self. Contributions via e-mail or on this bug accepted.

My bad there... sorry for spam

Didn't I just assign this to self? (sorry for spam, again!)

There was an auto-assign feature added to Bugzilla by SciTech for when you reassign a bug to yourself - not sure if it ever got added to CVS, though. Anyway, the attached os2.html hopefully looks correct when the style sheet is active. Feel free to fix up anything.

I'm going to have to strip most of that stuff out, because mozdev adds the branding automatically. Also, I'll have to label it "Mozilla 1.0 RC3" instead of "Mozilla 1.0.x" just to be consistant...
Attached file OS/2 PluginDoc (obsolete) (deleted) —
File to edit for future additions.

This is getting maintained, don't you worry ;)
Alias: PluginDocOS2
This probably should have been marked fixed several months ago...
doc is done.

Doc is a work in progress, so it's going to be reverted to "Assigned"

Unless, of course, you think no plugins will ever be developed/updated for OS/2, in which case feel free to close this bug :)

We have a major plugin update Steve, for the innotek Java plugin stuff if you get a chance.
I guess now would also be a good time to update the plugindoc version to match the Warpzilla page. Michael, can you please attach the current HTML you are using (sans the automagically added stuff), so I can update it?
This would make a good time for me to cut the OS/2 page over to the new layout. I'll have that ready for you by the end of the day (AEST).

Conversion of existing page to new layout. I'm dropping the branding on the files in the root directory when I finish updating them, but this is all you'll need to chew on.

I'm not allowed to obsolete the previous attachment; comments welcome...

Comment on attachment 145737 [details] Current PluginDoc OS/2 page using new layout Right. I'll put this up.

What's up with the FAQ links on the page? (acrobat, JAva, etc.) They go to nowhere. Thanks
It looks like Mozilla helpfully changed the relative links to absolute links when Michael saved the file from bugzilla.mozilla.org. Should be easy to fix...
Correction checked in. I think we're going to be attaching updates as text/plain from now on...
As I am trying to kill off old OS/2 bugs, I wonder if this one, like the other plugindoc bugs for the other platforms, should stay open (indefinitely) for some reason? Steve, do you want to update the plugindoc listing for OS/2 with the newest plugins, like GBM, unofficial Flash 7/9, something else? Or are you happy with maintaining that on your webpage? Or should this get moved to the Mozilla Wiki? If so this bug should be marked resolved.

Hmmm... no response to the last comment, and the page now says it is unmaintained. That's not very nice... you could at least have kept the link to the Warpzilla Tips page: http://www.os2bbs.com/os2news/Warpzilla.html#Plugins
I agree with comment 25 there is no real scope to this bug. At some point it should be resolved and new bugs filed to track updates. Assuming you still want to use bmo to track this sort of thing. Expecting people to respond to bug comments is not always the best way to elicit a response. I sugggest contacting hendy directly via some of the methods listed at http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/before-you-mail-hendikins.html . You can get the page source at http://www.mozdev.org/source/browse/plugindoc/www/OS2.html if you send him a diffed or updated page he should get to posting an update.

(In reply to Kevin Brosnan from comment #28) > I agree with comment 25 there is no real scope to this bug. At some point it > should be resolved and new bugs filed to track updates. Assuming you still > want to use bmo to track this sort of thing. Closing as this whole "Documentation" product is not maintained anymore. Please file new bugs at better places. Of course, this can also be re-opened if you have strong concerns.
