This is a metabug to track changes made to supported xptcall implementations. When we modify them for Tier-1 Firefox platforms, we'll mark the bug as blocking this one, so that maintainers of Tier-3 platforms can follow the changes and make any necessary modifications in the code they support.

Thanks for letting us know. I assume there haven't been any modifications to the Tier-1 code yet, correct? Also, my current understanding was that Firefox would do away with the XPT code?

There have been recently, see the dependencies of this bug. > Also, my current understanding was that Firefox would do away with the XPT > code? Not to my knowledge. We've moved off of it for a lot of things (i.e. the DOM), but we still use it for the frontend, and I don't expect that to change.
