Looks like this was triggered by Bug 1470910. I'm away for a few days - Paolo, could you have a look and decide if this can be fixed or if we should back it out?

I'm also curious if this also fails in `--verify` even without the patch and we just had the back luck of touching the test and thus putting it into TV.

Yes, this is Windows only and is an existing issue when running the test individually, likely a race condition.
