Mozilla should be able to have multiple email addresses per account. I could
create a second account. But all settings except the email address would be the
same and i don't want to get mails twice. i just want to be able to send with
this alias email address i have.

Only needs UI. Back end works. I've hacked this up for myself by editing prefs.js.

The preferences attached in mail_prefs.js are
ripped from my prefs.js.
I've done a bit of anonymiziing on the data, so
they may not work asis; but, the concept is sound
and workable.
With these settings I have multiple addresses
associated with a single account and accounts with
generic users (for archival use of an account).
(RKAA vowed to never verify any mailnews bug of
mine after hearing what I did.)
