From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.0rc3) Gecko/20020524 BuildID: 2002052414 When I create a file with a name containing a non-Ascii char (e.g. ä, i.e. German umlaut a, which I can see to be coded as 0xE4 in a hex dump of the directory), that file is listed incorrectly in the file selection window (file picker?) displayed when choosing File/Open File... E.g. ä is listed as d. Consequently, I cannot open such a file by clicking on it. Typing the file name (with the offending char) into the text input field does select the correct file, however. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.touch ä 2.Choose File/Open File... 3. Actual Results: The file name is listed as ä Expected Results: The file name should be listed as ä This bug was not present in RC1.
