Maybe this is a dupe of bug 1487694, but filing to be sure.
At the Android testing meeting this morning, we briefly discussed handling instance "types" in GCP. Since GCP doesn't really have predefined types, I'm not sure how we plan to handle this.
Will we expose all the instance param sliders in-tree as part of a config file, or will we pre-define some basic types ourselves?
Now that we know we can run basic workloads in GCP, I'd like to provide gbrown with a matrix of configurations so we can find the performance sweet spot, just like we did previously in packet.net. Seems like as good a time as any to figure out how we plan to expose these instance type configs.
