The problem is reproduced with newly created profile.

52.0.2 -- no bug
53.0.0 and later -- has bug

Disabled e10s fixes the problem.

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Launch Firefox with created new profile
2. Open any page
3. Open Print settings (File > Print Setup...)
   Switch to Margin tab
   ---  You can confirm that the unit is 'mm'.
   Close the dialog
4. Print with "Microsoft Print to PDF" (File > Print)
5. When printing is finished,
   Open Print settings again
   Switch to Margin tab
   ---  Bug appears, the unit is 'inch' now.

Actual Results:
The unit of length in Print Setting changes from 'mm' to 'inch'

Expected Results:
The unit of length should not change.

Your patch seems to cause the regression, can you please look into this?

I think that it will affect users in locale using International System of Units(SI units).

Too late to fix in 63 but we could still take a patch for 65.

Looks like a long-standing regression. Setting to P3 until we can better triage with the backlog of other printing bugs on our plate.

Bob: Would be good to know if this is any easy fix when you get a chance to look at it.

I can reproduce this, I think it is just for new printers because the paper is defaulting to letter and that corresponds to units of inches.
Hopefully it won't be too difficult to fix ... but this is printing.

Since this is triaged and has a priority set, marking this fix-optional to remove it from regression triage.
