From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020605 BuildID: 20020605 every now and then when you click on the address bar not the whole line is selected but only the part to the left of the mouse position (or to the right). I think it has something to do with mouse movement. If I keep double clicking the right mouse button over the address bar and move the mouse slightly it doesn't take long to reproduce the behaviour... however, the mouse movements have to be tiny... it should happen naturally as you cannot keep your hand very steading when double clicking. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start mozilla 2. Surf as usual 3. double click on the address bar 4. keep on double clicking on the address bar 5. try moving your mouse slightly to the left and right while double clicking Actual Results: the part of the url to the left of the mouse pointer eventually gets selected instead of the whole text (I was moving the mouse slightly to the right... maybe 1mm to the left or less.. big movements can't be used to reproduce the problem). Expected Results: the whole url gets selected every time no matter if your hand isn't perfectly steady

This is a duplicate of bug 23784. Its a general selection problem. You get the same behavior trying to select any word, not just in the url bar. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 23784 ***
